The Advantages of Hard Tonneau Covers

Most people who regularly haul heavy cargo will want a hard Tonneau cover. These are usually constructed using high quality aluminum and steel, although many are made of fiberglass. Both materials are lightweight, making assembly easy. Most hard Tonneau Covers are easy to install and remove from truck beds. Often, the supporting rails snap into place and the user doesn't need to drill holes in the truck bed. Most hard Tonneau Covers cost a minimum of $500, but they are well worth the investment.

Hard Tonneau covers are a valuable asset for pickup truck owners. They can lock valuable cargo in the bed of the truck, protecting it from thieves. Many hard tops contain hinges and can be opened upward and held in place by metal rods, providing the user with access to the entire truck bed. Some models are equipped with doors on their surface, while others can be folded up in seconds. The folding models allow users to access the entire truck bed, stowing the Tonneau cover in a small space for future use.

Hard Tonneau covers are a stylish way for truck owners to protect their cargo and add character to their vehicle. They can be painted any color, providing as much decoration as security. Many people with custom pickup trucks or low-riders choose customized Hard Tonneau covers to add their signature style to their trucks.

Five Of The Greatest Villains In Marvel Comics

To be ranked as some of the best villains in marvel comics they have to be dastardly, cool, clever, or just plain evil. And the marvel universe is filled with plenty of villains that fit the bill. But only a select few of the villains in marvel comics are the baddest of the bad. Not all the villains in marvel comics could hold the distinction of the absolute best, but these are among the ones that can.

First up we have the Green Goblin, Norman Osborn. He may not be the most powerful of all the villains in marvel comics, but he's definitely one of the vilest. Terrorizing Spider-Man until Osborn's death, and then terrorizing him again when he came back from the dead, Osborn is vicious, depraved and unpredictable. And now that he sits in a seat of power over the entire marvel universe that unpredictability and his psychopathic tendencies just shot him up to the top of the list of the greatest villains in marvel comics.

Next we have the Kingpin, Wilson Fisk. All the man boasts is enormous girth, intense strength and a ton of money, which adds many minions to his call. A thorn in the sides of the likes of Spider-Man and Daredevil, the Kingpin was at one time one of the most ruthless villains in marvel comics. He had no regard for life and didn't care who he hurt. He was on top of the world and had the world fooled for a long time while he acted as the head of the criminal underworld. Had Daredevil not finally taken the big man down he'd still be sitting on his empire, an empire worthy of one of the greatest villains in marvel comics.

Then there's Ultron, the creation of Henry Pym that went on to terrorize and nearly destroy the Avengers on more than one occasion. This super-intelligent and possibly sentient robot is one of the greatest villains in marvel comics simply because he's not human. He doesn't have a heart or a mind, and thus everything he does is cold, calculated and despicable. His sole goal is to rid the world of the Avengers and anyone else who stands in his way.

Of all the villains in marvel comics, Apocalypse is potentially the greatest threat. He's a seemingly immortal mutant that in every possible future of the marvel universe thus far he has ruled and reigned eventually. If the Age of Apocalypse story line showed us anything it showed us just how bad this mutant supremacist is.

And finally there's Magneto, the Master of Magnetism, and no list of the greatest villains in marvel comics would be complete without him. What makes Magneto so deadly isn't just his ability to control any kind of metal in existence, including the iron in our blood. But it's the cause that he fights for. He truly believes he is doing the right thing, and when a being with that much power is convinced that he's the savior of his people there's no limit to the lengths of destruction he might go to.

There are other great villains in marvel comics as this is just a few notable standouts. And each and every one of these listed have done much to deserve their place in such a list.

How To Design Solar Power Systems

If you have had problems or simply are interested in solar PV design, you have come to the best write-up. A lot of people want to support or save our environment and some are actually even aware of the fact that it may be economically positive, so I am going to talk about solar energy design.

More particularly, the very first detail I'm about to talk about will be the positives and negatives of doing the planning yourself or possibly employing a company. I'll write about factors which include precisely what a workman can get done better than you, what you ought to think about prior to getting one in addition to what exactly you ultimate options are. Furthermore, we are going to discuss the primary factors you ought to have under consideration whenever creating a solar energy structure. Emphasis will be concerning the general prerequisites for any design and also, just what exactly to bear in mind regarding the solar power array, electric batteries and also inverter. Last but not least, I will in short order bring up different designs that may become modern successors to the highly popular roof tiles. As a result of studying this write-up, you will comprehend the most essential stages in solar energy design and style.

Hiring a specialist or carrying it out all by yourself?

Depending on how you feel for the undertaking, you may want to give thought to working with a contractor if you have absolutely no past exposure to Do it yourself work. It is not necessary to be an electrical contractor or even have a graduate degree to layout a solar PV system but you have to know how to handle the regular equipment. In the event that, however, you would prefer to invest the cash to get someone to do it for you, consider that which you really need aid in. A workman can do the following things for you:

Dealing with examination Hire and handle workers Along with building permits

Help make changes to your own or someone else's design so that it will fulfill various criteria

Design and style the entire Solar Energy Systems

Consequently, you can employ a service provider at the start of this undertaking to be certain he/she is actually taking part in the many facets of the layout or simply seek the services of one at a later point just for certain assistance and limited work. Remember to go to a couple of installers before you decide to really retain the services of one to obtain the best offer.

Planning your own system

The very first thing it is advisable to accomplish is to try to figure out your own watt demand. You will need to estimate the sun's strength in your area with irradiance index charts. After you've carried this out, you have to style the structure so that you aren't welcomed with any unexpected situations concerning the electrical wiring or components (electric batteries, inverters) along the way

A common rule of thumb is that you'll require one sq. ft. of crystalline silicon panels just for 12 watts of electricity. It really is essential that you determine where you would like your ultimate cell planted. The roof is an excellent option nevertheless disadvantages including more difficult to clean as well as alter the particular angles for different months get you to look at a floor option prior to making the decision.

Electric batteries fill up space. You usually want one square feet just for two thousand w of amassed energy. In order to avoid line reduction, you want the electric battery to remain near to the inverter. Preferably, you will have to maintain your battery heat given that batteries suffer a loss of performance any time the item becomes chilled.

Alternative layouts

If you think that a standard solar power style is unexciting, why not test one of many contemporary approaches for instance a sun driven water fountain, the solar energy balloon or solar run lighting? You'll find lots of methods that you could make use of solar energy everywhere. What is actually to be had for you personally in addition to the fact that you're minimizing your own co2 impact and also helping preserve our planet from the predicted environment hazard? You are going to save money!

How to Find a Good Balance

How much TV is your tot watching?

Babies should watch as little TV as possible. New studies show that there is a huge difference in the amount of television that toddlers in child-care centers watch compared to stay at home kids. Children staying home watch almost 3 times more television than kids going to day care.

How to find a good balance? Stay at home moms are proud to be full time with their kids and not send them to day care, while stressing for not having any time for themselves.

Moms that work full time are fulfilled by their careers and probably feeling guilty for leaving their kids at home. I believe that ideally, if finances and schedules would allow, the perfect balance is right in the middle.

In a perfect world I think that newborn babies should definitely stay with mom as much as possible. When a little older I believe it is beneficial for everyone involved to spend some time in a good day care that supports the development and education of your child. As a result when spending time with mom, both will enjoy it more and have quality time dedicated to each other.

It's inevitable that a mom staying at home will need moments to do certain tasks that need her concentration and will turn on the TV or put on a DVD to entertain their kids. If this happens once in a blue moon is not a big deal of course, but that same amount of time could be spent interacting with other people and other children, helping their social and cognitive development, even the best TV program cannot substitute that.

I've been in both sides, when my daughter was born I still had my wholesale business going, my jewelry store open, so I had to leave my daughter to work full time (full time is an understatement), I would say full time and a half. When my son was born I closed my business and completely dedicated my time to my kids and my kids only. Now that Elias is 7 1/2 months I am back to working part time, my daughter has been going part time to day care, she will begin pre-school now in September and my son is with me most of the time still but I get some help here and there so I get things done.

I believe that interacting with different people, with different age, personality and lessons to offer can only benefit our kids. We are always behind moving all the strings making sure that he is in good hands, happy and well taken care off.

If kids could choose, if spending full time with an overwhelmed, cranky, stressed mom, I am sure they would prefer a part time happy, loving, caring mom. The best gift we can offer our kids is that they learn how to be happy, successful and survive out there in the world without us being present. That is our true job, not only protect them but prepare them. The earlier we take little steps towards that, the better.

Personal Property Insurance - Are You Properly Insured?

Homeowner's insurance policies are based on the value of the structure. It's quite simple to determine what the amount should be for the structure. But how do you know if your contents are properly insured?

Most insurance companies base the personal property (contents or possessions) coverage on a certain percentage of the amount for which your home is covered. That number is typically anywhere from 50% to 75%. So, if you have a home insured for $200,000, and you have coverage at 50% of your structure value, you would be insured for up to $100,000 for all of your personal property.

Is this coverage enough? Unless you have a receipt for everything you own, the best way to determine this is to compile a home inventory. Record your belongings room-by-room, the format preferred by insurance companies. Log the manufacturer, model numbers, serial numbers, cost and when purchase dates. If something is unique, additional descriptions are helpful. Take photos of full room views as well as close-ups of special items. Don't forget the exterior, garage and any other buildings on your property. This seems like a long, detailed process. If it's something you choose not to do, hire a professional inventory service provider. The cost is reasonable; usually approximately the cost of your deductible.

This inventory will give you a list of what you own and the estimated cost to replace the items if you should face a theft, fire or natural disaster. Once everything is listed, you can total the costs to determine the true value of your belongings.

Next, you'll want to check your policy to determine the limits that your policy stipulates. There are quite a few items that limit what the insurance company will pay out unless you purchase a rider. Some of these limits, the common ranges are:

- Jewelry: $1000-$3000 - Guns: $1000-$3000 - Silverware: $1000-$3000 - Business Personal Property: $1000-$2500 - Sports/Stamp Collections: $1000-$2500 - Money: $200-$500

Do you have a lot of high-end electronics, expensive furniture or other household items that add up to more than your current policy? It might be in your best interest to purchase additional coverage.

If you have a large amount of jewelry, guns, collectibles, etc., you will want to purchase riders for those special items.

The cost of additional insurance is minimal compared to your potential loss. And if you haven't experienced a disaster after years of paying premiums, you can be thankful for your good fortune. The value of peace of mind cannot have a dollar sign attached to it.

General Liability Insurance - An Introduction

Given the uneasy atmosphere of business success in today's society it is crucial for a business owner to plan for every contingency when planning and implementing his business plan. Lawsuits, often frivolous or even false, have been the demise of many businesses, regardless of size. General liability insurance protects the assets of a business. It obligates the insurer to cover the costs of damages that its insured may incur as a result of damages, either direct or indirect.

In today's litigious society, even the safest of business owners needs the protection of general liability insurance. Unexpected and extremely high costs can happen to any business as a result of innocent accidents or unintentional oversights in safety or workmanship quality. Claims general covered by liability insurance include personal injury, property damage, bodily injury and false advertising or liable. Depending on the risk of these incidents potentially occurring within your industry, it is best to do your homework before selecting a carrier and plan. Lower premiums can often mean lower ceilings for coverage, and it would be the responsibility of the business to cover the difference. Savings on a quarterly or monthly premium may seem like the best option, but one significant judgment against your company could make the small savings pale against a damages award not fully covered by your carrier.

The best way to insure that the policy and carrier are best for the needs of your business, do your homework. Research previous awards, both punitive and for damages, handed down by juries against other businesses in your industry. Check state statutes for any caps on punitive awards, since corporate America has been lobbying hard for the past decade or so to try to cap these types of awards. Once you are familiar with the laws governing these types of suits, and the history of previous attempts to defend them, you will be better suited to make an informed decision on the amount and type of general liability insurance that best suits your needs.

As a business owner, you must wear several hats. When looking for insurance for your company, perhaps the most suitable hat for the job is that of devil's advocate. The best insurance provides for the worst-case scenario, and it is the business owner who can foresee trouble who can best avoid it. Safety in the workplace, thorough and well-documented records and high quality control can also help to limit your business to exposure from potential claims. But no matter how meticulous your business is run, nothing can eliminate the risk of potential litigation. It is the intelligent business owner who recognizes this and plans accordingly.

General liability insurance quotes may be compared on-line. This eliminates the headache of face-to-face meetings until you are comfortable with one or two carriers. Insurance may be also be purchased on-line, and often live technical support is also available via the Internet. It is worth investing your time shrewdly, as your carrier will be with you through whatever rough waters may lie ahead for your business, it is best to make a well-informed decision.

Dragon Skurfers by L J Libiran - Book Review

1stBooks Library (2002) ISBN 9781403314314

"Dragon Skurfers" by L. J. Libiran is the story of two teenage brothers, Gabriel and Zach Hunter. They are having a stupendous time snowboarding and decide to try an expert trail that has not yet opened. They fall into a deep crevasse and must dodge pillars of ice and rock in order to survive. When they come out the other end, they are in the strange land of Morgowood where elves and dragons run wild. The elves are suspicious of the newcomers and want to banish them to the Whiteness, but, before they can, the evil dragon Rage sends his Skaavs to attack Morgowood. Will the elves and boys be allies or enemies? Will Morgowood succumb to the evil dragon?

Zach and Gabriel are snowboarding fanatics. You could almost say that their lives revolved around two things: snowboarding and eating, especially pizza. When they fell into the crevasse, they considered it to be like a top-grade video game except that if the snowboard crashed they would not just lose a computer-generated life, they would really die.

Good thing Zach and Gabriel really like wild adventures because they are in for a lot more. For starters, they witness four dragons hatching, and two of the dragons immediately bond with them. What will come of these strange bonds when they find themselves in a battle against the evil dragon Rage? I will tell you one thing -- you will see Zach and Gabriel put snowboards to use in ways you would never imagine.

This book has a great mix of reality and fantasy. It is so good, in fact, that at some points I almost felt like I was a part of the book. The book's fast-moving story makes for quick reading. The main characters are very creative at solving problems. Zach and Gabriel are very likeable teenagers, and I do not think that most parents would have any objection to this book.

I would recommend "Dragon Skurfers" to people who like adventure and fantasy books. Full of dragons, this book is fun to read especially if you have an avid imagination. I hope that everybody who reads this book enjoys it as much as I did. Readers will be happy to know that there is a sequel already out.

Finding Out About World of Warcraft Guides

One of the quickest ways to get ahead in a game is to learn from experienced players. This is where World of Warcraft guides come in - experienced WoW players who have been there and done that can share their expertise with newcomers.

World of Warcraft guides can help you on the quickest path to level up your character, and gain gold and rare items. WoW levelling can be time consuming, difficult and - frankly - boring. Speed levelling is the main aim of many new players, eager to start the real challenges that only high level World of Warcraft characters can access.

There is a wide range of available World of Warcraft guides. From the very basic high level overview, through to incredibly detailed step by step walk throughs that cover all relevant aspects of the game. There are detailed guides for all character types, and whether Horde or Alliance you can find a guide to suit your needs.

The usual way to gain levels in WoW is by grinding. Repeatedly killing the same enemies or completing the same mission again and again is known as grinding. Although you can gain lots of experience and some loot by grinding, it is incredibly boring. Faced with having to grind to gain a few more levels, many players despair. The grind in WoW removes all the fun of the game and quickly puts off newer players who aspire to own rare loot and compete in large, challenging raids.

World of Warcraft guides choose specific quests to help you gain the most experience in the shortest space of time. Focussed on solo play, a side effect of most guides is that they teach you a lot about the mechanics of the game, helping you become a more accomplished player. By understanding the more arcane and complex parts of WoW, you can quickly master the more challenging quests.

The real question is - why do you play the game? Is it to meet up with friends? For enjoyment? To escape the pressures of life, living within the fantasy world of Azeroth? Why waste your game time grinding away on the same boring quests and tasks, when you could be enjoying the real risks and rewards of high level quests.

Reaching the higher levels within WoW is becoming more and more difficult for the casual player. By using a World of Warcraft guide you can easily enjoy the high level, more challenging aspects of gameplay, without sacrificing your personal life to the game. Good luck!
